Elizabeth Redmon
President

Elizabeth Redmon is currently the president of the Dayton Autism Society and has served on the board for more than 10 years. Elizabeth works as a Fair Housing Specialist with the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center where she has been employed for 13 years. Elizabeth has two nephews who have Autism Spectrum Disorders and became involved with the Dayton Autism Society in hopes of learning more about Autism.

Elizabeth’s professional background also included service as a paralegal for Legal Aid of Western Ohio. Elizabeth also earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Sinclair Community College’s American Bar Association (ABA)-approved paralegal program. She has also pursued training in disability awareness and accessibility.

Elizabeth hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community that have developmental disabilities. Elizabeth was recently appointed to the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities by the Montgomery County Commissioners.

Christina Kozee
Secretary

Christina Kozee – The mother of two adult sons on different ends of the Autism Spectrum. Christina has served on the Dayton Autism Society Board for more than 10 years. In Christina’s current role, she serves as Secretary and monitors the organization’s Facebook account. In her role on the Board, she has also been instrumental in implementing the Brighter Tomorrow Foundation Grant to provide monthly outings and activities for the Autism Community and their families.

Shaniece Johnson
Member at Large

Shaneice Johnson has been married for 12 years and has 2 lovely boys. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance on the Clarinet from Bowling Green State University in 2009. She received her Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. Shaneice is also am a member of the Springboro Wind Symphony and Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra. She is a childcare coordinator through the YMCA of Greater Dayton and runs the before and after school program at John F Kennedy Elementary in Kettering, OH.

Dr. LaShell Dauterman
Member at Large

LaShell Dauterman is a diverse educator with over 20 years of experience. Passionate about the field of education, she continues to expand her knowledge in the areas of educational leadership and special education. LaShell currently works as an Intervention Specialist with the Montgomery County Education Service Center Learning Center North. She serves as a member of the Dayton Autism Society to help families understand the challenges faced in education and is the parent to a child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Dr. William Dauterman
Member at Large

William T. Dauterman is an accomplished network engineer with a major telecom company where he serves as a Principal Equipment Design Engineer. William is also a 28-year veteran of the US Air Force where he worked in aviation and cybersecurity. He currently serves as a member of the Dayton Autism Society to help support individuals with ASD and manages the website.

Board meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 1-3:00 pm at the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center at 505 Riverside Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45405.
